| Take off your work boots and throw em on the floor. Slip on your Tony Lamas, put your drinking face on, and get your ass to the bar. Why? Cause Cory Bivens Band is playing. This group of three good ole boys and one heavy metal guitarist make up the band that you need to see. Fans and peers voted them the " Band of the Year" in the Blues N Rock Gazette Awards. Cory also won awards for the "Male Vocalist of the Year" and "Songwriter of the Year" And when they play there's one goal in mind when it comes time to start the show. Cory and his little band from west Texas want to get the crowd on their feet. The way they do that is by playing the kind of songs that true Lonestar blooded Texans crave.Two-stepping, rock and rolling, beer drinking music. Cory is a member of ASCAP as a songwriter and publisher. Cory and the band have done shows with a number of artists. Including Kevin Fowler, Honebrowne, Jamie Richards, and Peter Dawson. They have made the rounds playing in Fort Worth, Eastland, Abilene,San Angelo, Brownwood, and Midland. They are hoping to make an name in all parts of Texas and make the road their home.
